| What OTHER FEES are there... ?
Server space (disk
usage) over the agreed account quota is charged at the rate of $1.00 per
Mb./Month, and no discounts apply to this fee.
All accounts include 1 full Gigabyte of transfers per month. Additional transfer costs
$1
per 100 megs.
Very processor intensive scripts can also incur extra
charges.
E-mail Invoices are free. If you require
printed or faxed Invoices, they are $5
per billing period.
There is a $25 charge per IP that we redirect away
from Doorways. This applies to MX records as well. (If you don't understand this, then you
are probably not doing this unusual setup.)
There is a $25 charge per bounced check.
There is a $25 charge plus transaction costs per
refused credit card charge.
There is a $100 charge to restore lost files from tape
to a disk drive. This does not apply if the disk drive lost the files due to hardware
failure. This also does not apply if we are restoring configuration files such as
/etc/passwd or any other files which are backed up to disk twice a day.
If you forget passwords more
than three times, or ask us to reset more than three passwords for you, you may be charged
$10 per reset password.
There is a $5.00 charge to reconnect an account
that has been cut off due to lack of payment.
You must give us 30 days notice before you cancel an
account.
By default, we make you the InterNIC billing contact for your
domain. If for some reason you want us to be the billing contact, you will be charged
$25.00 per year by us, $15.00 for the 1 year fee, plus a $10.00 processing fee.
By default, you will register any secure certificates
that you want from Verisign or Thawte. If you want us to do so, there will be a $25
processing fee.
While many of our robots love to read adult only
materials, we can't allow them due to legal problems.
For security reasons, we don't allow IRC bots or
anything else to do with IRC to run on our systems.
If we get spam complaints against your account, we
will charge you $25.00 per complaint. Excessive spamming can result in account termination.

Doorways customers can send copies of SPAM to DamSpam@Doorways.dk and we will consider adding
those companies to our filters. Due to the massive spamming on the Internet, do not expect
a personal response to such requests.
We store the last two full months of web logs and mail
plus the current partial month.
Our liability on any account is limited to the amount
of money that the customer has paid us. If we incur legal expenses due to a customer, we
reserve the right to recover these expenses from the customer. For example, if you have
violated a copyright and we are sued (although we shouldn't be as an Hosting
Provider), we may require
you to pay our legal fees.
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service to
anyone for any reason.
